Drawing parallels to moments in history when crisis sparked artistic expression, Sapto reimagines pieces from his archives with renewed intricacy. Plaid motifs evolve into hand-embroidered weaves with three-dimensional light play; noni fruit and yayi-turangan horse motifs evoke healing and movement. Signature craftsmanship—kerancang stitching, batik kawung on leather, and Balinese ikat—meets fresh details like appliqué and feather-embroidered jackets inspired by Baroque art.
